WAT ("we", "us", "our") is a mobile application for discovering, sharing, and reviewing action sports tricks. WAT is operated by a private individual based in Switzerland.

2. What Data We Collect

Account Data

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address — used for login and password reset
• Display name — shown publicly alongside your contributions
• Profile picture — optional, shown publicly

Content You Create

When you use the app, we store:

• Trick submissions — tricks you submit for community review
• Content requests — edits, sport/category suggestions you submit
• Reviews — if you are a reviewer, your approval/rejection decisions and reasons
• Favorites and progress — tricks you mark as favorite, want-to-learn, or achieved

Automatically Collected Data

• Account activity timestamps — when you created your account, last login

What We Do NOT Collect

• We do not use analytics or tracking tools
• We do not collect device information, location data, or usage statistics
• We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies
• We do not serve advertisements

4. Where Your Data Is Stored

Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure hosted in Zürich, Switzerland (eu-central-1). Supabase maintains appropriate data protection measures in accordance with their own privacy policy.

6. How Long We Keep Your Data

• Active accounts: Data is kept as long as your account exists.
• Deleted accounts: When you delete your account, your profile, favorites, and personal data are removed. Your display name is preserved in existing content and review history for community integrity (see Section 8).
• Content you contributed: Approved tricks remain in the community after account deletion, with your author name preserved but your account link removed.

7. Your Rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (DSG) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of your personal data
• Rectification — correct inaccurate data (you can edit your profile in the app)
• Deletion — delete your account and associated data (available in the app under Profile)
• Data portability — request your data in a machine-readable format
• Object — object to processing based on legitimate interest
• Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent

8. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app. When you delete your account:

• Your profile, email, avatar, favorites, and recent views are permanently deleted
• Your display name is preserved in content request history and on tricks you authored, to maintain the integrity of the community review trail
• Your login credentials are permanently deleted — you cannot recover the account

9. Children's Privacy

WAT is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of WAT after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
